NHNA President Carlene Ferrier opened the evening.

Several Bylaw changes were approved at the Annual Membership Business Meeting.

nursing advocate.

Speaker Karen Daley told her story of suffering a needle stick injury at work, and then courageously using her own experience in the legislative arena to advocate for Safe Needle Protection policy.

Rivier University Department of Nursing & Health Professions received a Champion of Nursing Award. The Champion of Nursing Award honors an employer/institution or individual who has had a
positive impact on the profession of nursing.

Maggie Bard of Cheshire Medical Center received a Champion of Nursing Award. The Champion of Nursing Award honors an employer/institution or individual who has had a
positive impact on the profession of nursing.
