Policy Alert Week of January 26th

Next week two of our priority bills will go to Executive Session where they will be voted on by the committee on Wednesday, 1/28/26 @2:30PM. 

HB 1584 Title: directing the department of health and human services to provide notice of medical and religious exemptions from immunization requirements and relative to the form of such exemption. Health Human Services & Elderly Affairs.

HB 1719 Title: removing Hepatitis B from the list of diseases for which immunization is required under state law. Health Human Services & Elderly Affairs.

Please outreach to the following four representatives (identify yourself if you are a constituent) prior to the Executive Session and let them know you are a nurse and you oppose these bills and why!
