Recruitment Announcement: Treasurer, NH Nurses Association Board of Directors (2-Year Term)

The New Hampshire Nurses Association (NHNA) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treasurer to join our Board of Directors for a two-year term. This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse leader who is passionate about supporting the financial health and strategic direction of New Hampshire’s professional nursing community.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a candidate who:

• Has experience with QuickBooks (required)

• Brings strong organizational, financial management, and record-keeping skills

• Is able to collaborate closely with the Board and Executive Director

• Values transparency, accountability, and accuracy in financial stewardship

• Is committed to the mission of elevating and advocating for the nursing profession in New Hampshire

Role Responsibilities

The Treasurer will:

• Oversee NHNA’s financial records and monthly financial reporting

• Manage the annual budget in partnership with the Executive Director

• Support audits and compliance with nonprofit financial standards

• Guide financial strategy and long-term planning

• Attend regular Board meetings (virtual and/or in person)
