Two actions needed this week. Our Colleagues at the NH Commission on Aging asked for our assistance, and HB63 has gone over to the Senate.
On March 17th a House Finance Subcommittee approved an amendment to the state budget proposal that would eliminate the NH State Commission on Aging. The Commission performs important functions including serving as the Advisory Council necessary for the State to receive vital federal Older American Act funds. - Write a letter in support of the Commission on Aging to the editor of your local paper!
