The House Health, Human Services & Elderly Affairs hearing for
Medicaid Expansion (Senate Bill 263),
has been scheduled for Tuesday, April 4th at 11:15 am
Medicaid expansion is a critical care program that provides health insurance coverage for individuals and families in need. Since its inception in 2014, the program has helped more than 219,000 people access vital health care services, including preventative and primary care, mental health and substance use treatment, among other services.
Unfortunately, Medicaid expansion is set to expire in just a few short months. This means that thousands of individuals and families will be at risk of losing their health insurance if the legislature does not vote to reauthorize the program.
SB 263 ensures we keep this valuable program.
Please take a few minutes to tell the The House Health, Human Services & Elderly Affairs Committee you want them to vote YES on SB 263 - very easy directions below.
