Innovation in Nursing: Covid-19 Device Testing

Posted almost 3 years ago by Pamela DiNapoli

The University of Massachusetts Lowell, in partnership with the Solomont School of Nursing, is part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Rapid Acceleration of Diagnostics (RADx) initiative to speed innovation in the development, commercialization, and implementation of technologies for COVID-19 testing. Accurate, fast, easy-to-use, and widely accessible testing is required to safely return to normal life.

We are looking to form a pool of nurses/nursing students for a one-year position to assist companies with testing their COVID-19 testing devices and creating a data bank. The role will include following study protocols, participating in testing events, and documentation of results. Interested individuals should send their resumes and will be required to complete human subjects training in the ethical conduct of research. Please contact Dr. Ainat_Koren@uml.edu
