RN Experiences with Workplace Incivility During COVID-19 Pandemic
Nurse researchers from UMass Lowell Solomont School of Nursing and UMass Medical School Graduate School of Nursing are exploring the experiences of Registered Nurses (RNs) with workplace incivility during the COVID-19 pandemic. This exposure in the workplae is important to capture as research indicates that psychological safety has a direct impact on physical safety. Furthermore, workplace incivility has been directly linked with adverse patient outcomes, PTSD, anxiety, depression and other negative health outcomes in victims and targets.
Interested RNs are requested to complete an anonymous survey consisting of 25 questions which should take about 20 minutes to complete. This survey will be open until end of July. Researchers will not collect your name, workplace or any identifiable information. If you have any questions please contact Mazen_ElGhaziri@uml.edu
