Looking for Volunteers

The Board of Directors of the New Hampshire Nurses Association has decided to form the Finance, Audit & Investments Task Force.  The purpose of this Task Force will be to review NHNA's quarterly financial statements and supporting accounting reports, review and analyze the annual operating budget, review the annual tax return, monitor and make recommendations related to the organization's investments and other related tasks as may be assigned by the Board.  The NHNA Treasurer will serve as the Chair of this Task Force.

Volunteers will need to spend between 2-4 hours per month quarter and will need to attend one meeting per quarter in Concord.

Qualified volunteers will have experience reviewing financial statements, preparing and reviewing operating budgets, familiarity with general accounting guidelines and familiarity with financial investment strategies and financial markets.  An MBA or a history of accounting/finance/investment courses is a plus.
