The New Hampshire Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS) was recently awarded a federal grant called the Preschool Development Grant (PDG).  The grant provides an opportunity for stakeholders in NH to better understand the state’s early childhood system and to create a strategic plan to build a system that will better address the needs of vulnerable children and improve outcomes for children, families, schools, and communities throughout NH.

As part of the PDG, DHHS is working to understand the early childhood services available to families in New Hampshire and the experiences of the members of the workforce who provide those services.  DHHS is particularly interested in the experiences of those who work directly with young children and their families.

To that end, they have prepared the attached a flyer describing survey and participant elibility requirements.

Or the survey can be accessed directly at: https://www.education.nh.gov/pdg/wfsurvey.htm

Survey participants must be:  18 or older and their work must focus on young children from birth until they enter kindergarten (ages 0-5) and their families. This includes child care and early learning programs, home visiting programs, early intervention services, health services, or related programs.

They are offering a $20 Amazon gift card for participation in the 30-minute survey.  The survey will be open through June 30, 2019 and must be completed in one sitting.

Please consider sharing your expertise in support of this effort.
