Posted over 6 years ago by Pamela DiNapoli

The New Hampshire Nurses Association (NHNA) is thrilled to announce the appointment of Elizabeth (Beth) Dow, MSN, R, CRNI, IGCN, WCC, VA-BC, as its new Event Coordinator.  Beth is a certified infusion nurses with IV Solutions and Primary HealthCare at Home.  Her work with NHNA will be part-time and she comes to NHNA with considerable experience in planning social as well as nurse education events, as the past Program Director for the New England Chapter of the Infusion Nurses Society.

Beth is busy planning a series of micro-events for nurses to gather, network and just have a fun night out.  We will start in the Manchester area and then expand across the state.  These events will be for both members and non-members.  Keep an eye on the Upcoming Events section of the NHNA website for an event in your area.

We are very pleased to have Beth as part of our team and we hope all of you will welcome her to the organization.

We also want to announce the appointment of Julianne (Julie) van Kalken, MSN, RN-BC, as one of NHNA's appointed members to the Board of Directors of the Northeast Multi-State Division (NEMSD).  Julie is a Nursing Development Specialist with Elliot Health Systems.  She has been in nursing practice for 9 years.  In addition to this new role, Julie has served on NHNA Scholarship Task Force, as a member of the Maternal-Child Health Team on the Legislative Advocacy Council and as a member of the Commission on Continuing Education.

Julie will join Judy Joy, NHNA's other representative on the Board and currently President of the Board, to help guide the NEMSD.  The NEMSD is accredited as a provider of continuing education by the American Nurses Credentialling Center's Commission on Accreditation.

Congratulation Julie on this new role.
