New Opportunity with NHNA

Do you have experience with event planning or coordinating?  If you do, the New Hampshire Nurses Association (NHNA) has an opportunity for you.

NHNA is growing and working to provide more opportunities for New Hampshire nurses to gather together, earn continuing nursing education credits, network and grow professionally.  Increasing the number of our program offerings has necessitated the need for someone to help us with event planning and coordinating.  The Event Coordinator will work with the Nurse Executive Director and other members of the NHNA team, and be responsible for planning, organizing and evaluating the success of NHNA events.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • the ability to work independently; be well-organized with multi-tasking skills.
  • outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
  • problem-solving skills.
  • experience coordinating events involving 100 to 200 individuals.
  • proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with event registration software.

This will be a part-time, contract position.  We will need someone to work between 5 and 10 hours per week, but actual time will vary depending on the planning calendar.  Much of the work will be independent and virtual, except on the day of the events.
