Many New Hampshire nurses care for patients with substance use disorder and in particular patients who use drugs that are injected. The NH Harm Reduction Coalition, with the assistance of the NH Governor's Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention, Treatment and Recovery and its Healthcare Task Force, has developed a tool to guide nurses on how to reduce harm associated with the use of injected drugs. Please read this document to help you in these difficult conversations. Let us share this valuable knowledge with our patients.
