ANA Is Recognized for Ongoing Support by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Partnership for Patients (PfP)

Dear C/SNA Presidents, Presidents-Elect, Executive Staff Leaders and IMD Chair,

In December 2016, ANA received an award from the recipients of the Samuel J. Heyman Service to America Medal (“the SAMMIEs”) 2016 Federal Employee of the Year Award winners from the Partnership for Public Service. The award was presented to ANA by the three Federal Employees of the year for ANA’s ongoing support and commitment to the important quality and patient safety work conducted by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Partnership for Patients (PfP)

ANA would like to share a recent announcement from CMS that PfP has achieved the bold target of engaging a minimum of 4,000 acute care hospitals in this important quality improvement work (see attached congratulatory letter).
