2021 is sure to be a very busy legislative season for healthcare in New Hampshire!
Learn the issues, and debate the priorities of bills proposed by the House and Senate of the
New Hampshire Legislature by attending NHNA's Town Hall. Your opinions matter and will help to determine which bills NHNA will support and advocate for.
The Town Hall will be broadcast live via a Zoom Conference.

Panel Membership & Moderator Comments
Carlene Ferrier, President of NHNA Polly Campion, Retired House Representative Pamela DiNapoli, Executive Director, NHNA Tracey Collins, Chair, NH Board of Nursing.
Each panelist will introduce themselves and explain their role in the advocacy process. Moderator will explain how the short list of bills was developed, explain how nurses can make a difference in the advocacy for/against legislative bills and describe the importance of focused, consistent messaging and concentrating the voice of nursing before the legislature.

Presentation of Bills
Members of the CGA and the Legislative Advocacy Council
For each bill, presenters will discuss the history/context for the bill, the pros/cons for the bill and the CGA's position on the bill. A Q&A will follow each bill where the audience/participants can ask questions and/or make comments on the bill. At the conclusion of the bill presentation, the Moderator will acknowledge other bills that NHNA will be following during the legislative session.

Voting
At the conclusion of the live portion of the event, a link will be posted in the chat bos. This is the link to an online survey and post event evaluation that will ask you to vote on the top 3 bills that should receive NHNA's advocacy priority.
Once this survey is submitted the participant will receive their certificate of completion for nursing professional development continuing education hours.
